Caroline is an experienced teacher of Music Theory and in the training of students for ABRSM exams. Music theory at grade 5 is needed to progress above this level in the ABRSM performance exams in any instrument or voice. Regardless of whether a musician intends to take grades higher than this music theory is an important subject for any musician as it increases the background knowledge of music and the reasons behind many of the confusing rules that music follows.
